Growth

Growth

Today’s post was a struggle. Point blank.
.
I struggled finding anything I liked about myself in any of the shots. As a woman in the wood working field, I often feel like I’m an imposter. That I’m not good enough or skilled enough. That there are MUCH more qualified artists out there.
.
But that’s nonsense.
.
I’ve worked extremely hard to be where I am. I have put in HOURS and DAYS worth of work. Lots of sweat, tears, dedication, mental discipline, and money. It is my job as a woman to be an example to the women that are afraid of joining a field that is male dominated. There is PLENTY of room for everyone in every field.
.
The world needs your authenticity, ideas, artistic abilities and passion. Fuck what anyone else says. Don’t be the person who is afraid of take the leap. Do it. You are capable. You are more than enough. The naysayers are the scared ones, the ones who don’t take risks, who don’t have faith in themselves. Use that as fuel to get where you need to be.
.
Remember, if you’re not uncomfortable, you’re growing.
.
Thank you for coming to my Ted talk.
